What Do We Need from YOU, the Client?

Copy! We need as much text for your book as you have. Don't worry if you want to rearrange the order of things! We make that simple!

What kind of vibe do you want from your book? You can always provide example photos of some of your favorites. Consider who the end reader is. Is this for children, higher education, or more of an art piece?

Of course, the text itself will always be at the forefront in determining the size of your book, but you can also play with font size, number of graphics, and other layout opportunities. How about a big book with thick pages and rounded edges? Or a very tiny book with minuscule font and very thin pages reminiscent of chapter books or a keepsake?

Give one or two paragraphs telling your story as an author and use this space to open the door and connect to your readers. Provide an Author photo if you wish (highly recommended, this can always be changed on your end!)

The absolute FIRST thing your reader sees! How do you wish to invite them in? With Photos?Elaborate Illustrations? Minimalist Graphic Design? Logotype? Maybe even take a stab at implying a homemade mixed-media binding.

It is incredibly helpful to have an ordered list of chapters or even in some cases; a list of philosophical ideas or headings. This is not permanent and can be changed on your end limitlessly.  Think of it as a Sketch or as an Outline that helps keep all the moving pieces AND ideas tied together. Very very useful, do not underestimate the power of an outline!
